Delta Hotels by Marriott Jumeirah Beach, Dubai

We stayed in room 1201 from 20-26 January. It’s a huge standard king room with lots of space for clothes in the closets and drawers with a balcony and view of the ferris wheel between the skyscrapers. The bathroom is large and spotless. On arrival at 1 a.m. in the morning after a long flight from Europe we were greeted by a huge smile and very warm welcome from the doorman and reception staff at the hotel. The check-in was very efficient. A huge recommendation should be made to ALL the staff, who were extremely polite and efficient and we were always greeted with a big smile from all of them - very heartwarming - especially, Chand, Motin, Chetan, Abdul Majid (one of the chefs) we only regret we can’t remember all the names as they really were exceptional staff of varied nationalities. The housekeeping made sure the room/bathroom were kept immaculately clean with fresh towels and toiletries and complementary bottled water every day. The breakfast staff ensured the food was always topped-up. The buffet was a mixture of hot and cold, both European and Arabic. The chefs made delicious eggs to your specification if you wanted, otherwise scrambled eggs were always available. There was sufficient seating space for everyone. The location of the hotel was an easy few minutes walk to the beach, the marina, the metro (very easy to use to go visit all the sights/shopping malls) so we didn’t need a car at all. Lots of eatery places and shops within a few steps of the hotel - so it’s a perfect location and wonderful to walk around as the skyline in the daytime is amazing and magical at night - really picturesque to take beautiful photographs. The return taxi from the hotel to Dubai airport at 5.30 a.m (so not much traffic) cost 90 dirhams.

Our family of eight stayed in one large room. It was very clean, regular cleaning. I really liked the location, 5 minutes to the sea, no need to cross the big road. To the metro 10 minutes on foot. There is a supermarket near the hotel. A good breakfast, you won't stay hungry. We also liked that you could take towels and umbrellas to the beach.

I loved the location as it was very close to Jumeirah Beach and the Walk. The hotel itself had many facilities and breakfast at the Shores was great, with a lot of choice. Our room was massive and good value value for money.

Excellent hotel with wonderful people in great location, beautiful beach. We booked room on higher floor with sea view, it was worth it. Comfortable spacious clean room, everything was available, water, tea, coffee. Delicious breakfast with lots of people always ready to serve you. I do not remember other hotel where I was asked so many times how we are satisfied. I was amazed how people in this hotel care. Wow.

Good Location and very helpful staff. I did not have the Breakfast but I looked at the spread and it truly looked very appetizing. I did use the gym one time which was a above average compared to most! Overall a Great value at a quality property in a superb location!
